STAY TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions apply to all accommodation services provided by The Benev Pty Ltd. By making a reservation, guests confirm they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms, including any updates communicated to them. Please review the website’s Terms and Conditions carefully, as your use of this site constitutes acceptance of these terms. In this document, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to The Benev and its affiliated companies

ACCOMODATION:

All accommodation is subject to availability. While we strive to honour all bookings, The Benev reserves the right to decline requests or existing bookings.

A minimum two-night stay applies on weekends (Friday and Saturday nights).

During holiday periods, a three-night minimum applies, including Christmas/New Year (20rd Dec – 10nd Jan), Easter holidays, and public holiday weekends.

Rates are per room, per night, based on double occupancy, with a maximum of two guests per room.

​Check In - 3pm   |   Check Out - 11 am.

Pets are not allowed.

CHILDREN:

The Benev does not cater to children aged 18 and under and reserves the right to decline bookings for this age group. So, no excuses needed — just feel free to leave the kids at home and blame us!

BOOKINGS:

All accommodation and experience bookings require full payment at the time of reservation via credit card. A confirmation email will be sent—without it, the booking isn’t guaranteed. Please review it and notify us of any issues. By providing your card, you authorize Idyllic Lifestyle Pty Ltd (The Benev) to charge the booking amount and any additional expenses during your stay, such as spa treatments, food, or retail, to your room.

 

If we or a third party cancel an experience, you’ll receive a full refund within 14 days. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for canceled bookings. Some areas may be reserved for group bookings at our discretion.

SPA:

Due to high demand, we recommend booking your spa experience at the time of your reservation to avoid disappointment. Any additional experiences can be added to your room charge and secured by the credit card on file. The Benev reserves the right to charge any unpaid services or items to the guaranteed credit card for your suite.

FOOD & BEVERAGE:

After guest check-out, we conduct a stock take of the honesty pantry & fridges. The Benev reserves the right to charge any unpaid items to the credit card on file for the room.

PAYMENT POLICY:

At the time of booking, a valid credit card is required to secure your reservation, and a deposit equal to 100% of the total accommodation cost will be charged. Any additional charges for spa treatments, Honesty Bar purchases, experiences, or retail items will be billed to the same credit card upon guest check-out.

 

GIFT VOUCHERS:

All gift vouchers are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase. If a specific treatment was selected at the time of purchase, its full value is honoured for 12 months. After this, the original dollar value remains valid for the remaining 24 months, with any price difference payable at the time of booking. Gift vouchers must be redeemed within their validity period — we are unable to accept expired vouchers.​ We kindly ask that you treat your voucher like cash — lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced. Vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash or for the purchase of other gift cards. Multiple vouchers cannot be applied to the same service and cannot be used in conjunction with promotional offers.

CANCELLATION, AMENDMENT & NO SHOW POLICY:

​Guests may amend or cancel their booking and receive a refund of their deposit, unless the change is made after 5pm, 14 days prior to arrival — in which case, the booking is non-refundable and cannot be amended. No changes or refunds are permitted for stays that fall between 20 December and 15 January, or in the event of a no-show or same-day cancellation. All cancellations or amendments must be confirmed via email — if no confirmation is received, the original booking remains in effect. If you are cancelling due to government restrictions or border closures, we will issue a full refund (less a ~7% transaction fee charged by our payment provider, Stripe), or you may opt for a 100% credit note to use at a later date.

WEATHER POLICY:

North East Victoria is occasionally affected by natural events such as flooding or bushfires, which may make travel to or from The Benev unsafe or restricted. In light of this, we strongly recommend that all guests purchase appropriate travel insurance when planning their visit. By confirming your booking, you agree to the terms outlined in The Benev Weather Policy. For full details, please refer to the policy on our website.

 

WEBSITE PRIVACY POLICY:

Any personal information submitted through The Benev website is subject to our Privacy Policy, which can be accessed via the link provided on this site. While we aim to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all information shared, we cannot guarantee that all content is up to date or error-free. Use of this website and reliance on its content is at your own risk, and it is your responsibility to stay informed of any changes or updates.

 

TRANSMISSION:

Any non-personal communication or material you transmit to this website — including data, questions, comments, suggestions, or similar content — will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. All such submissions become the property of The Benev and may be used for any purpose, including (but not limited to) reproduction, disclosure, transmission, publication, broadcast, or posting. The Benev is also free to use any ideas, artwork, inventions, suggestions, or concepts contained in your submission for any purpose — including the development, marketing, or promotion of products — without compensation. By submitting content, you confirm that you own the material, that it is not defamatory, and that its use by The Benev will not infringe on any third-party rights. The Benev is under no obligation to use any submitted material.

LIMITATION OF LIBILITY:

We are not responsible for any actions taken or not taken in response to emails you send us. (a) for services — the lesser of resupplying the services or covering the cost to do so; and
